ZLS Holds its 26th Annual Conference and General Meeting

The Zanzibar Law Society convened its 26th Annual Conference and General Meeting, bringing together advocates from across Unguja and Pemba to review the Society's affairs and chart its institutional direction.

The conference was held under the theme “Embracing Digital Transformation for Efficient and Accessible Justice in Zanzibar,” reflecting priorities set out in the Society's Strategic Plan 2026–2028, including the strengthening of ZLS's digital systems and records management.

Members used the General Assembly to review the Society's performance, and office bearers were recognised for their service to the profession during the preceding term.
